Since my last report we held United Nations day. John produced a game to show the many and varied countries who joined together and the differing problems that beset them. Of course special emphasis was placed upon the UN millennium goals.
The following week was the 400’Th anniversary of the gunpowder plot. Naturally we had to talk about that. The repression and social divisions that caused a group of religious fundamentalists to attempt the mass-murder of the government.
Last week was a drama workshop with Colin Meredith. This was very entertaining and well appreciated by the children.
